Woke up early this morning, finished packing and had an early breakfast so we could take the land trip to Bacolod. After saying our goodbyes we rode a couple trikes to the highway to wait for the bus.

We waited for almost one and a half hours before we found out that the bus we wanted was cancelled. Fortunately there is another bus that we could catch that would at least get us onto the ferry and across to the next island.

What we didn't realise was this bus trip was taking us the long way, right down the bottom of one island, across the ferry and then back up and across the next island. The scenery was really quite beautiful, winding along the coast and then passing through the mountain ranges and sugar cane.

We were very ready to get off bus at 6.30pm, and find our hotel. After checking in, we went to the local SM (Shopping Mall) and shouted everyone to a feast at Shakey's Pizza Bar. After that, we felt much better, having missed out on lunch due to travelling.
Said goodnight to our companions and went to our rooms, showered. It felt sooooooooo good to get rid of the travel grime! Then, we fell asleep. What an exhausting day.
