Guess what? More washing this morning. We interrupted it however by going into the town of Bugallon with Sis Jinky so that Noah and I could get haircuts by a barber (a real man this time). It seems a little odd, that after spending three months in the Philippines and staying at the Bugallon ecclesia, that we have never actually been to the town of Bugallon. I had my hair cut first, then Noah. He was very serious and well behaved for his first haircut by a real hairdresser.

Afterwards we all had a treat from Mister Donut's and then paid a quick visit to the local park and playground. Silas enjoyed climbing on the model dinosaurs.

Then we took a couple trikes to Dorcas for our final visit. This time I got Sarah to help Joel with the trimming – she was slower than me, especially after being told how much is deducted from Joel's wages should a piece be accidentally damaged whilst trimming.

We went quickly back to the hall for lunch, because after lunch Bro Frans was coming to collect us and take us to his house for the night.
We were supposed to be collected at 3:00pm, but it was almost 6:00pm before he arrived. And then, oh joy... a ride in the multi cab. Being the gentleman that I am I told Sarah to sit in the front (with Noah) while I sat on a mattress in the back. Fortunately I didn't feel car sick, but the exhaust fumes and dirt that blows in from the back is awful. Another fortunate thing is that it didn't rain for too long on the way there.
We were welcomed into the Espareto home. Sarah and I had visited there once before in 1999, but the only thing that we could remember was eating avacado ice-cream. Our children were particularly taken with the pet hampsters.
We enjoyed dinner together, and then read the Bible together upstairs on the open balcony, where there was a beautiful cool breeze. It was nice to chat with Bro Frans and Sis Evelyn, although Sis Evelyn was very tired after a busy week, so before it got too late, we said goodnight and went to bed.
