Much better sleep last night, which means Silas does not have Dengue Fever – what a relief!
Jonathan cooked hotcakes for us before he and Jodel and Jinky left to go to work. We are very spoilt!
Made a shopping list, and then Matt, Mum and Silas went off on their adventures and to do the shopping in in Lingayen. The trip to Lingayen was supposed to be a boys outing for Matt and Silas, but it turned into a big food shopping trip with Grandma.

Eden, Noah and myself enjoyed a relaxing morning reading stories and doing sticker books together, and while it rained, they played schools together, then they had porridge and spaghetti for lunch – great combination hey! After lunch Noah went to bed for a much needed sleep, and Eden went to visit next door at Laida's house.
I had just sat down to do some work on the computer, when the others returned, so much noise as everyone told their stories of the mornings adventures while lunch was cooking.
Now for a summary of Matt's morning:
This was my opportunity to stop on the way to Lingayen and visit the Auto Electrician. However when we did the man there (who didn't speak much English) wasn't very friendly and told me that they no longer do auto electrical work there. As there was another A/E sign next door I went into the next shop and received the same story!
Upon arrival in Lingayen I tried to interest Silas in the motorbikes for sale in the shop (they even had a twin cylinder road bike – now that is something when everything else is between 100-155cc). But he seemed more interested in the security guard next door with his 12-gauge shot gun. I decided to get Silas' hair cut. After looking into a few hairdressers we went to where I had mine cut last week. Unfortunately Silas ended up getting his hair cut by two trannies, he had a screwed-up look on his face for the whole time and was clearly not comfortable with these “ladies who spoke with mens voices”.

To help cheer up Silas we went to Jolibee (I cant believe we visit this place so much – sorry mum) and Silas enjoyed a Green Apple Float (sprite, apple flavouring and soft serve ice-cream).
Then the shopping at Magic supermarket (I am not sure what is magic about the whole experience), we also bought some extra veges from the market next door. In my usual thrifty fashion, I made us all walk back to the Jeepney terminal, ready for the journey home.

When we got home Noah was sleeping, Sarah got lunch for us and we shared the mornings experiences. After Noah awoke they children all went out the back and played in a tub of water and had a water fight.

Later in the afternoon the children paid a visit to Callie and Laida, while Jinky prepared our tea.

The Bible readings got started earlier tonight and we did Ezekiel 16, and Luke 12. Cesar, Jodel and Jonathan all contributed quite a bit to the discussions. Silas and Eden were put into bed during the readings and Noah played with Callie quietly the whole time.
The only rain today was while we were walking to the Jeepney terminal in Lingayen. Most evenings there is lightening in the distance, and at some time overnight it usually rains.
Hello to you all, we are enjoying your blog and are glad to hear Silas is feeling better.
