I had arranged with Bro Ryan to leave at 7:30am to go and visit Telavera. At 6:00am Ryan was waiting outside the office to for me. It was Sarah who was up with Noah that noticed Ryan standing there. Fortunately we had cereal in the kitchen, so I quickly ate breakfast and got ready to go. I raced down to the hall kitchen where Ryan was, only to find that he was sitting down to his breakfast!
I never realised how far it was to Telavera before! We took a trike into Bayambang and then waited in a van for it to fill up (the four rows of seats each held four adults, plus two young children). This took us to Carmen where we arrived at the bus terminal at 8:00am only to find the bus we wanted was empty, it was not going to leave until it was full – which to Ryan's estimation would not leave until almost 11:00am.
We decided to take another trike to the market where we bought provisions for lunch. Outside we waited for a jeepney, this took us half of the remaining distance and then we swapped over to another jeepney. This as a safe jeepney – safe in that it was slow!
At Telavera we took another trike to the hall. As usual we took our lunch at the home of one of the local Bro & Sis and then had a guided tour of the hall. We held a Bible study (I gave the same one as yesterday) and took a group photo of everyone and then had to hurry on our way. We were taken on trailer and small tractor back to the main road. We took a jeepney to Gumbia and then another jeepney to Gerona and then another jeepney to Camaling and then a bus to Bayambang, and then a trike back to Rudi & Leahs house. We arrived at 6:30pm tired and hungry. Each time we went to board a jeepney we had to wait until it was full before it would leave!

A delicious meal of spaghetti was served by Sis Lea, along with fried chicken and egg pie (custard tart) – masarap.
| Delicious - will have to try it again! |
After tea we got the children into bed and I followed straight after it. Sarah stayed up to prepare my exhort for Sunday!

What did Sarah and the others do today? No photos, because I had the camera.
They slept in, and were then served lobster and calamari for breakfast. Chauffeured on a Mercedes to see the local sights of Bayambang. They dined with the mayor for lunch and were special guests for the local cock-fighting event. Following this they were treated to a pedicure and and head massage while being served young coconut milk and fried quail thighs.
Sounds great doesn't it...
Really, we had a lovely relaxing morning, reading some more chapters from “Little House on the Prairie”, doing sticker books, puzzles, chatting, and enjoying each other's company. At 1.00pm Bro Adrian, Sis Charity, Sis Arlee and another sister whose name I can't remember, arrived to take Silas, Eden and myself to Sunday School. All seven of us fitted on one trike (8 including the driver). It started raining on the way, and by the time we arrived it was raining quite heavily. The Sunday School students arrived in the rain, and enjoyed singing songs and hearing the Bible story about the Contest on Mount Carmel. The rain was so loud at times that you couldn't hear them speaking! After colouring in their pictures, they were given snacks and we waited for a trike to take us home again. The trike driver arrived, and we waited while he put on all the wet weather covers. It stopped raining on the way home, and we were dropped of near the home of Sis Emelda for a Bible Study. I let the children go to the Bible Study while I walked back to the Office to check on Noah, who had been left at the office with Grandma to have a sleep. He was still asleep, so Felcris, Mum and I were able to have a nice chat until he woke up, very happy, and enjoyed the attention of three adults without and competition from older siblings.
When Silas and Eden returned to the office with Sis Arlee, they asked to go back to her house with her, which they did, while we packed a couple of backpacks to stay at Bro Rudi & Sis Lea's house for the night, and took a trike there with Bro Felcris and the rest has already been told.
