I woke feeling much better today. Bro Jonathan and Jodel cooked pancakes for breakfast, Mum cooked herself some toast. There was also rice, fried eggs and some crumbed chicken.

After breakfast we got into the washing. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the washing dried very easily. Lunch was a simple affair of vegemite sandwiches and a banana each. Noah and I had a turn of Silas' bow and arrows for a while before the children had an afternoon sleep.

Once the children were nicely asleep Sarah and Mum were to leave for the internet cafe. But alas, the rain started. It started raining suddenly and it rained hard for about half an hour. There was close lightening and thunder (very loud) which I thought was rather cool. It continued to rain for another couple hours but much more gently, so eventually the ladies got to go to the internet cafe.
I stayed back to get stuck into preparing a talk for tonight. The boys want Revelation, so I have decided to begin with Daniel 2 and 7 to show the basis for the interpretation of Revelation. Noah decided to wake up before I could get too far, so we played together for a while until Eden and then Silas joined us. About 3:45 Sarah and Mum returned, which was a relief for me. I returned to my preparation and they minded the children.
We held a combined tea tonight with all the Bre and Sis who came to the Bible class. Tea was rice, eggs, two min noodles and some pork.
After tea we held the Bible study, it seemed to go well and there were a number of good questions. Apparently the study went for a long time, I don't know about that, it seemed okay to me and the clock on the wall still showed the same time as when I began. It couldn't have taken very long for me to do Daniel 2, 7 and then Revelation 13! Jonathan and Jodel always stay for a coffee afterwards – but not tonight.

So here I am at the end of the day, writing this journal entry while everyone else has gone to bed. I am still excited from reading H.P.'s expositor on Daniel “in the year 869 following the 8th Ecuminical Council the great Schism took place. Constantinople and its Greek supporters severed connection with Rome and established the Greek Catholic Church. Now there were two churches in apostasy: Roman Catholicism and Greek Orthodoxy. The former continued with its headquarters in Rome; the latter set up its headquarters in Constantinople. The latter city had been styled the Second Rome, but when it fell to the Moslems, its churches were turned into mosques, and its worshippers were offered the choice of the Koran or the Sword. The Patriarch of Constantinople (as its Bishop was called) withdrew to Moscow where Greek Orthodoxy had considerable influence, and there set up the headquarters of the eastern Church. In consequence, Moscow was given the title of the Third Rome.”
